TRANSLATION: AWESOME ANIME
I’m REALLY enjoying this anime as of now. The comedy scenes are genuinely funny, so far there hasn’t been an episode that missed out on some sort of development, and overall it’s looking up to be further proof that the slice-of-life genre in anime doesn’t have to delve into supernatural elements or become pure yonkoma gags to be an engaging watch – just pure and dramatic realistic fiction, for the win. 😛
An awesome and hilarious scene? Well, you have Wein chasing after a very enthusiastic Spanish dude on a taxi and tackles the guy, who is twice his size (If that didn’t accidentally raise the Wakana route flag for Wein, then I must say that anime girls are immune to such GAR). Character development? Well, the entirety of episode 4 reveals some hidden facets about Sawa and Taichi, and Konatsu’s ambitions for the club got a further power up. The entirety of episode 5 provides a good amount of revelation about Wakana and (judging from the episode preview) serves as a lead-in for some MASSIVE character development regarding her regrets about her mother’s death.
Even if the series didn’t show as much promise as it does now, Konatsu sure has enough of the cute factor to keep me watching! xD
This scene is what solidified Wein as my favorite male character of this show.
If the eccentric Konatsu is my token source of moe in Tari Tari, the eccentric Wein must be my token source of pure RAMBO!
OH GOSH WEIN, YOU’RE SO ALPHA. ♥ ♥ ♥
WHY IS HER PANTSU NOT DOWN YET?
I can’t wait until Wakana actually starts acting like a real part of the club. Out of all the characters in the anime, she does seem the most interesting in terms of her background story and her emotions, and I’m very curious as to how she’ll overcome them in the next episode. I certainly felt some of her pain in these episodes. Although if I was her, I wouldn’t have given away the piano since that’s the only memory of her mother left, but I do understand that was an attempt to let go of the past.
It’s clear that Wakana and Konatsu are the central females, but I wonder which one is the deuteragonist?
