An imaginative budget

An imaginative budget…?

I have an operation tomorrow morning, so this post won’t be as screenshot heavy or as long, even though this episode had lots of awesome and humorous moments!

So far, the characters of Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai! haven’t struck me as unlikable or anything of the sort. Along with the sweet animation sequences that this episode provided, I think Kyoto Animation has something promising here. Though it does make me ache for another Haruhi Suzumiya or Full Metal Panic! (anytime this century, please! :P ).

Rikka: totally my favorite character this season – excluding a handful of the Little Busters! cast, of course.

Eyepatch umbrella moe to the MAX

Oh yes, and there probably won’t be any posts for a few days while I’m in bed recovering. By the time I do, my Cardcaptor Sakura Omnibus would have come in and I will be fired up to continue my rewatch-blogging of remastered Cardcaptor Sakura (been focusing too much on new shows, I have literally finished rewatching the precious thing a couple of months ago, but haven’t finished blogging it yet D:).

  1. I’ll probably start watching this soon. Makes me mad how much moe KyoAni is barfing up now instead of something with a little more substance, but hey. It’s still fun to watch.

  2. I wouldn’t say this is completely devoid of substance yet. If the comedy consistently delivers, I think that’s actually some form of substance. Though I wish Kyoto would finally dive into their stories that deserve more material. *cough*HARUHI NOVEL IS STILL ON-GOING *cough*
