Still stuck in Halloween (Ibitsu)

Holy effin’ balls. This is the creepiest manga I’ve ever read. No bullshit. Screw Higurashi. Screw Battle Royale. Screw that Highschool of the Dead BS. This is true horror on black and white pages.

I recommend everyone to kill their lights and read this (unless you somehow manage to get a hold of the actual book, in which case turning off the lights will be fucking stupid). This will make you piss your pants if you happen to have a little sister. Why, you ask? Read it and it will ALL make sense to you. I’m not taking out the trash EVER again.

(Yeah, I didn’t finish blogging the summer season. Sue me. My priorities at the moment are: college prep stuff > video games > anime. Too bad they’re not in the order in which I would prefer them to be. As an apology, here’s a funny video Steven showed me, which he found on VG Cats (wait, they actually updated?!). Cookies for anyone who can point out the person who is most likely saying “yyeah bitches” during that Black Friday stampede.)

A great opening episode that hopefully sets the atmosphere of creepiness and mystery for the rest of the series. The village setting reminded me a little bit of Higurashi.

(Yeah, looks like Shiki and Ookami-san are gonna receive the Chinese subtitle treatment for the rest of my blogging season…)

Top 10 video games that can easily become anime

Honestly. You know, despite how horrible or loose video game adaptations tend to be… Within hundreds of video games, there are those certain gems that are pretty much playable anime. They would have no problem making the transition from one medium to the other. And then, of course, there are those games which actually have better stories than what you would discover in a lot of anime…

(Numbers hold no importance, although #1 is the most wanted one. Also, happy 4th of July!)

WTF MAN.

Seems like Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai ni episode 12 was cancelled from broadcast. From what I hear, it may either be completely taken off the air and be released on DVD, or it was just this one episode only.

All because of a little girl that was running around in a murderous rampage with an ax… Killer lolis got canceled because of a killer loli?
