Autumn 2013 Anime Leftovers

Now that it’s Winter Break and I’ve escaped the hectic college life for the time being, I can devote more time into the blog. Let’s give a round-of-applause to free time not being eaten up by the PS3 and Pocket Monsters X! That being said, here’s my updated thoughts on the leftovers from the Autumn Anime season. I’ve put Kyousogiga on-hold for the time being, so I can marathon it all at once the moment it’s finished, in order write about this fantastic series in a separate well-deserved post.

Kill la Kill‘s pretty much near its halfway point, whilst Kyoukai no Kanata has one episode left to go. Let’s get this quick run-down started!

Sweet extras on revitalized “complete” anime sets

It’s great to purchase anime that have recently finished, but eventually years down the line (if demand is high enough), they may be re-released with improved quality and redone masters according to the standards set by that time. While improved video quality may be enough to capture the purchases of the diehard fans that anime companies are aiming for, there are a multitude of ways fans can be further satisfied with buying their favorite series yet again.

Personally, if one of my old favorite series was retouched and released with a new eye-candy resolution, I would buy it regardless. However, there are more than several ways that these re-releases can satisfy my needs as a fan – which I will delve into, right after the jump.

Today, I become 19. I am no longer barely legal, just… legal. How boring. ):

Well, what better way to spend your birthday than to watch a bunch of Cardcaptor Sakura episodes with you little sister. She seems to be just as in love with the show as I was when I was in grade school. That’s great, knowing that I’m supplying her with wholesome amounts of awesome. >:D
